Overview
Two-component epoxy phenolic coating for chemical and seawater exposure.

Composition
Imported epoxy phenolic resin with curing agent, corrosion-resistant pigments, solvent, additives; supplied as Part A & Part B.

Typical uses
For steel structures, storage tanks, and equipment containing chemical media.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: various colors.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.14 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: 1.4 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): 24:3.

  • Induction time: 5 min.

  • Pot life: 3 h.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–8%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max 7 d.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 60–90 µm (brush/roller 40–50 µm).

  • System: epoxy phenolic primer + epoxy phenolic topcoat.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Packing: Part A 24 kg; Part B 3 kg.
