AL-901-X Cooling Tower Anti-Corrosion Waterproof Coating

Overview
Two-component anti-corrosion waterproof coating for concrete and steel substrates, designed for application on damp surfaces.​

Composition
Polymer synthetic dispersion, pigments, additives, curing agent; supplied as Part A & Part B.​

Typical uses
Waterproofing and anti-corrosion for sewage tanks, cooling towers, and walls/floors in chemical plant workshops.​

Technical data (typical)

• Appearance: primer grey; topcoat various colors.​

• Theoretical consumption: 0.16 kg/m² at 40 µm DFT (loss not included).​

• Drying time (25°C): surface dry 2 h; hard dry 24 h; full hardening 7 d.​

• Volume solids: ≥65%.​

• Acid resistance: 3% HCl, 72 h; no blistering, no peeling.​

Application data (25°C)

• Mixing ratio (A:B): 24:3.​

• Induction time: 5 min.​

• Pot life: 3 h.​

• Application methods: airless spray, brush.​

• Thinner: X-7 thinner, 3–10%.​

• Recoat interval: min 8 h; max 7 d.​

• Recommended DFT per coat: 30–40 µm.​

• System: AL-901-X primer + topcoat.​

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.​

System compatibility / packing / storage

• Packing: Part A 24 kg; Part B 3 kg.​

• Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.​
