Overview
Two-component epoxy anti-rust primer for corrosion protection of steel structures; when used with an epoxy sealer primer, it can also serve as a concrete anti-corrosion primer.
Composition
Epoxy resin, iron oxide red, anti-rust additives, additives, and solvents; cured with a polyamine adduct; supplied as Part A and Part B.

Theoretical consumption: 0.16 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (losses not included).

Drying / curing (25°C): Touch dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 days.

Mixing ratio (A:B): 24:3.
Induction time: 5 min.
Pot life: 4 h.
Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.
Thinner / Cleaner: X-7 epoxy thinner; typical dilution 2–8% (air spray/roller may require more).
Recoat interval / overcoating interval (25°C): Minimum 24 h; maximum 7 days.
Recommended DFT: 50–80 µm per coat (brush/roller: 35–55 µm per coat).
Surface preparation
Abrasive blasting or shot blasting to Sa 2.5, or power-tool cleaning to St 3.
Surface profile: 30–75 µm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
Compatible topcoats: epoxy MIO intermediate coating, epoxy topcoat, polyurethane topcoat; also acrylic, chlorinated rubber, high chlorinated polyethylene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, and chlorinated ether topcoats.
Shelf life: 12 months.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool, ventilated warehouse away from fire sources and direct sunlight; outdoor storage is not permitted.
Packaging: Part A 24 kg; Part B 3 kg.

Epoxy MIO intermediate coating (2K) for barrier protection in cathodic-protection coating systems.
Used with PLH53-35 epoxy zinc primer as a supporting intermediate coat.
Salt water resistance: 20 days (as stated).
Mixing ratio 8:1 (by weight); recommended DFT 60–90 µm per coat.
