PLSX-13 Waterborne Anti-Mold Coating

Waterborne anti-mold coating for walls in food and beverage plants.

  • Breweries, bakeries, dairy and soy-product workshops.

  • 0.13 kg/m² at 50 µm; recoat 24–168 h.

  • Water-thinned 5–10%; requires full mold removal.

PLSX-13 Waterborne Anti-Mold Coating Descriotion

Overview
Waterborne anti-mold coating for cementitious and masonry walls in food and beverage production areas where long-term mold inhibition is required.
Provides a hard, adherent film with broad-spectrum anti-mold/anti-bacterial performance, moisture and corrosion resistance, and low VOC.

Composition
Waterborne resin combined with anti-mold agents, special additives, and functional fillers; water as thinner.

Typical uses
Walls and surfaces in breweries, bakeries, bean-product factories, fermentation plants, dairy plants, and other mold-prone industrial areas requiring anti-mold, anti-corrosion protection.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: white or specified color.

  • Density: 1.2 kg/L.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.13 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Drying time (25℃): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Application methods: spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: clean water, 5–10%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max 7 d.

Surface preparation
Wall surface must be dense and dry, free of loose, hollow, blistered, or flaking areas.
Uneven surfaces should be levelled with sealer + putty, then allowed to dry completely before subsequent coats.
Old walls contaminated by mold must undergo thorough mold removal, followed by ventilation and drying; baking is recommended where conditions allow.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • System compatibility: used over matching anti-mold primer and putty system to form a complete wall protective scheme.

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated warehouse; 5–35℃; avoid strong sunlight, severe cold, and rain.

  • Shelf life: 6 months.
