Overview
Two-component polyurethane anti-corrosion primer for steel substrates on heavy construction equipment where adhesion and abrasion resistance are critical.
Film focuses on toughness, corrosion resistance, water/oil/chemical resistance for cranes, excavators, and earthmoving machinery.
Composition
Part A: polyurethane resin with anti-rust pigments, solvent, and additives.
Part B: polyisocyanate curing agent.
Typical uses
Anti-rust primer for cranes, loaders, excavators, bulldozers, overhead cranes, mining machinery, dock machinery, and coal mining equipment.

Appearance: iron red, grey.
Theoretical consumption: 0.13 kg/m² at 40 µm DFT (loss not included).
Density: 1.4 kg/L.
Drying time (25℃): surface dry 2 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Mixing ratio (Part A:Part B): 21:7.
Induction time: 5 min at 25℃.
Pot life: 4 h at 25℃.
Application methods: spray, brush.
Thinner: X-10 polyurethane thinner, 3–9%.
Recoat interval: min 8 h; max 7 d.
Recommended coats/DFT: 1 coat 20–40 µm (spray or brush).
Recommended system: HS06-1 engineering machinery primer + HS04-1 engineering machinery topcoat.
Surface preparation
Blast-clean to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm; phosphating/passivation optional per customer requirements.
System compatibility / packing / storage
System compatibility: primer with HS04-1 engineering machinery topcoat for heavy equipment.
Construction conditions: RH ≤85%; 5–35℃; avoid rain/snow, strong wind (>6.7 m/s), heavy fog, intense sunlight.
Storage: dry, cool, ventilated warehouse away from fire sources; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor stacking; shelf life 12 months.
Packing: Part A 21 kg; Part B 7 kg.

Mix ratio 27:3; pot life 4 h (25°C).
