PLX06 Vinyl Phosphating Primer is a two-component vinyl phosphating primer formulated to form a coating with chemical adhesion on non-ferrous/light metal surfaces and improve adhesion of subsequent coatings.
The product is formulated with polyvinyl butyral resin, anti-rust pigments, passivator, solvent, additives, and an acidified curing agent. It is used for phosphating treatment on galvanized steel and aluminum and, when used with epoxy anti-rust coatings, it is stated to enhance salt spray corrosion resistance and moisture resistance of the coating film.
