Single-component chlorosulfonated polyethylene gas holder dedicated coating for external wall protection.
Provides resistance to water, hydrogen sulfide, and chemical gas corrosion; fast drying and suitable for low-temperature application.
Composition
Formulated with chlorosulfonated polyethylene resin, modified resin, quality pigments, mixed solvents, and multiple additives.
Typical uses
Protection of gas holder outer walls; also suitable for anti-corrosion of other steel structures.

Appearance: Primer—red iron oxide, grey; intermediate—red-brown; topcoat—various colors.
Theoretical consumption: Primer 0.17 kg/m² at 60 μm DFT; intermediate 0.17 kg/m² at 40 μm DFT; topcoat 0.2 kg/m² at 50 μm DFT (excluding loss).
Density: Primer 1.37 kg/L; intermediate 1.4 kg/L; topcoat 1.2 kg/L.
Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h.
Application data (25°C)
Mixing: Single-component.
Induction time: None.
Pot life: Unlimited.
Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.
Thinner: X-1 chlorosulfonated polyethylene thinner; dilution 3–7%.
Recoat interval (25°C): Min 24 h; max unlimited.
Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 40–60 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.
Surface preparation
Steel: blast/shot blast to Sa 2.5, or power-tool cleaning to St 3.
Surface profile: 30–75 μm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
Compatibility: PLJ52-4 dedicated system—primer + intermediate + topcoat.
Packing: Primer and intermediate 25 kg; topcoat 22 kg.
Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store dry/cool/ventilated, away from fire and direct sunlight; no outdoor stacking.

For corrosion protection of steel structures and concrete surfaces.
Water and corrosion resistance with strong adhesion (as described).
Mix ratio 24:3; recoat 24 h–7 d (25°C).
Epoxy Zinc Primer (2K, C6-Modified) – Two-component epoxy zinc primer (C6-modified) for cathodic-protection priming.
Salt spray resistance 1300 h (as stated).
Theoretical consumption 0.25 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (losses not included).
