Polyurethane MIO intermediate coating (2K) for sealing and reinforcement in PU systems.
Intermediate layer for polyurethane coating systems.
Mixing ratio 9:1; thinner X-10 at 3–7%.
Compatible with polyurethane and acrylic polyurethane topcoats.
Overview
Two-component micaceous iron oxide anti-rust coating / intermediate coating with shielding effect and anti-corrosion performance.
Designed for good intercoat adhesion with primers and topcoats; fast drying and low-temperature applicability.
Composition
Based on polyurethane resin, micaceous iron oxide (MIO) powder, quality pigments, solvents, and additives.
Cured with polyisocyanate; supplied in Part A & Part B packs.
Typical uses
Intermediate coating for polyurethane coating systems to improve sealing and build.
Can also be used as the first coat primer.
