Application Environments
The polyurethane coating system is specified across corrosion categories C3–C5 for structural steel, infrastructure and heavy industry assets requiring both long-term corrosion protection and high decorative quality.
Bridges & Structural Steel
Bridges, transmission towers, TV masts and industrial steel frameworks demand coating systems with superior adhesion, mechanical toughness and colour retention over 10+ year service cycles. The PLS53-61 primer → PLS53-62 MIO intermediate → PLS52-3 HDI aliphatic topcoat system meets ISO 12944 C4–C5 requirements for structural steel corrosion protection.
Petrochemical & Power Plants
Equipment and structures in petrochemical plant, power stations and chemical processing environments face chemical splashes, elevated temperatures and aggressive atmospheric corrosion. PLS52-1 TDI enamel and PLS52-4 high-solids anticorrosive topcoat provide robust chemical resistance and simplified coating schedules to reduce downtime.
Offshore Wind & Port Facilities
Wind turbine tower coating, offshore platform topsides and port steel infrastructure require non-yellowing, UV-stable finishes that maintain gloss and colour in marine C5-M atmospheres. PLS52-3 HDI aliphatic polyurethane topcoat delivers outstanding UV resistance and colour retention for offshore wind turbine tower coating and marine structural protection.
Vehicles & Engineering Machinery
Construction machinery, agricultural equipment and industrial vehicles require coating systems that resist mechanical abrasion, oil contamination and repeated washing cycles. The PLS52-1 and PLS52-3 polyurethane topcoat systems combine toughness, boiling-water resistance and decorative gloss to protect working machinery in harsh environments.
