Overview
Single-pack chlorinated ether anti-corrosion coating system supplied as primer and topcoat.

Composition
Chlorinated ether resin, pigments, plasticizer, thixotropic agent, surface additives, solvent.

Typical uses
Anti-corrosion for ships, containers, port machinery, mine equipment, gas holders, steel structure bridges, and steel/concrete facilities and equipment.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: various colors.

  • Theoretical consumption: primer 0.17 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Theoretical consumption: topcoat 0.2 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: primer 1.4 kg/L; topcoat 1.25 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 8 h; full cure 7 d.

  • Mixing: single-pack.

  • Induction time: none.

  • Pot life: unlimited.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–8%.

  • Recoat interval: min 12 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 30–50 µm (brush/roller 30–40 µm).

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.
