2-component vinyl ester glass flake lining with outstanding chemical barrier and abrasion resistance for FGD systems, chemical plants and marine splash zones. Wet service rated to 140°C. 2mm+ DFT with low shrinkage cure.
Overview
Two-component vinyl ester glass flake mastic for lining service in severe corrosion environments and thermal cycling.
Composition
Vinyl ester resin (high corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high toughness) with specially surface-treated flake materials, additives, and corrosion-resistant pigments/fillers; paste-like material.
Typical uses
Linings for steel structures and concrete buildings in harsh flue gas environments (power plants, smelters, fertilizer plants).
Protection of internal/external surfaces of equipment, pipelines, and tanks for liquid media up to medium corrosion severity.
Composite use with FRP (e.g., high-speed metal impellers).
Acid-making and desulfurization environments and equipment; marine splash zone and harsh three-phase alternating corrosion environments.
