About Fire Protection Coatings
The Huili Coating Fire Protection Coatings Series provides a full portfolio of passive fire protection solutions for structural steel, meeting fire resistance ratings from 1 hour to 3 hours in accordance with GB 14907 and compatible with international passive fire protection standards. The series comprises two core technologies: water-based intumescent coatings (GT-NSP / GT-WSP) that expand under heat to form an insulating char layer at dry film thicknesses of 1.7–3.3 mm, and cementitious non-intumescent coatings (GT-NSF / GT-WSF) that provide dense mineral insulation at 16–33 mm total thickness for cellulosic and hydrocarbon fire exposure. Products are available for both indoor and outdoor installation, with outdoor grades offering validated resistance to thermal shock, freeze-thaw cycling, UV exposure and salt spray. The series is widely specified for structural steel fire protection in commercial buildings, high-rise construction, railway stations, port terminals, sports stadia, petrochemical plant passive fire protection and offshore platform structural members requiring hydrocarbon fire resistance.

Application Environments
Huili fire protection coatings are specified across commercial construction, transport infrastructure, petrochemical processing and offshore facilities — wherever passive fire protection of structural steel is mandated by building codes or process safety requirements.
Commercial & High-Rise Buildings
Structural steel in multi-storey office buildings, shopping centres and high-rise residential towers requires passive fire protection compliant with local building codes. GT-NSP-Fp2.00 indoor intumescent coating delivers a 2-hour fire resistance rating at 3.3 mm DFT, with a decorative topcoat option for exposed steel in architectural environments. Application by spray or roller allows efficient coverage on complex beam and column sections.
Transport Hubs & Sports Stadia
Railway stations, metro terminals, airports and large-span steel-roofed sports stadia expose structural steelwork to both outdoor weathering and the risk of cellulosic fire. GT-WSF-Fp3.00 outdoor non-intumescent cementitious coating provides a 3-hour fire rating with proven weathering durability, meeting the passive fire protection requirements for large public assembly structures with external or semi-exposed steel frames.
Petrochemical Plants
Steel structural members in petroleum refining, LNG processing and chemical manufacturing facilities face hydrocarbon pool fire and jet fire scenarios with far greater heat flux than cellulosic fires. GT-NSF-Ft2.50/3.00 indoor hydrocarbon non-intumescent coating is specifically engineered for this exposure — delivering 3-hour fire resistance at 33 mm with outstanding crack and impact resistance on load-bearing columns, beams and pipe racks under process plant conditions.
Offshore & Port Facilities
Offshore platforms, floating production units and port terminal steel structures require passive fire protection that simultaneously withstands marine atmospheric corrosion, UV degradation and hydrocarbon fire exposure. GT-WSF-Ft2.50/3.00 outdoor hydrocarbon-grade non-intumescent coating combines a 3-hour hydrocarbon fire rating with full outdoor weathering validation — salt spray, UV and freeze-thaw resistance — for structural steel fire protection on exposed offshore and port infrastructure.
