Overview
Single-component perchloroethylene anti-corrosion coating system (primer/topcoat) with fast drying and relatively high hardness.
Provides weather resistance and corrosion resistance; suitable for low-temperature application.
Composition
Formulated with perchloroethylene resin, modified resin, pigments, extenders, plasticizer, and mixed solvents.

Anti-corrosion for mechanical equipment, metal structures, and concrete surfaces.

Appearance: Primer—red iron oxide; topcoat—various colors.
Theoretical consumption: Primer 0.18 kg/m²; topcoat 0.2 kg/m²; both at 50 μm DFT (excluding loss).
Density: Primer 1.4 kg/L; topcoat 1.2 kg/L.
Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h.

Mixing: Single-component.
Induction time: None.
Pot life: Unlimited.
Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.
Thinner: X-1 thinner; dilution 3–7%.
Recoat interval (25°C): Min 12 h; max unlimited.
Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 40–60 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.
Surface preparation
Steel: blast/shot blast to Sa 2.5, or power-tool cleaning to St 3.
Surface profile: 30–75 μm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
Compatibility: PLG52 system—anti-corrosion primer + topcoat.
Packing: 20 kg.
Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store dry/cool/ventilated, away from fire and direct sunlight; no outdoor stacking.

Used with PLH53-35 epoxy zinc primer as a supporting intermediate coat.
Salt water resistance: 20 days (as stated).
Mixing ratio 8:1 (by weight); recommended DFT 60–90 µm per coat.
Epoxy MIO Intermediate Coating (2K) – Two-component epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coating for barrier protection.
For ships, containers, bridges, steel gates, gas holders, port machinery, and steel structures; used over zinc-rich primer or sprayed zinc.
Mix ratio 27:3; pot life 4 h (25°C).
Recoat 12 h–7 d (25°C); overcoatable with epoxy and polyurethane systems.
