PLHL52-1 Epoxy Bitumen Glass Flake Coating is a two-component epoxy bitumen glass flake coating for heavy-duty protection of steel and concrete in underground/underwater service and internal linings. This coating is intended for underground and underwater steel structures and concrete facilities, and for internal lining protection.
It is composed of epoxy resin, coal tar pitch, glass flakes, solvent, and additives, with a modified amine curing agent, and is supplied as Part A and Part B.

If applied over a two-component primer, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants; abrade if beyond the maximum recoat interval. If used directly as the first coat, blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.
