PLJB82-81 Chlorinated rubber acrylic marking coating Description

Overview
Single-component chlorinated rubber acrylic marking coating for marking and protective service.
Provides weather resistance, water resistance, chemical-atmosphere resistance, and marine-climate resistance; fast drying and suitable for low-temperature application.

Composition
Formulated with chlorinated rubber resin, acrylic resin, pigments, plasticizer, solvents, and additives.

Typical uses
For marking and protection on concrete-structure chimneys in power plants, and for marking/protection on steel towers.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: White; bright red, etc.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.12 kg/m² at 30 μm DFT (excluding loss).

  • Density: 1.2 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 1 h; hard dry 10 h.

  • Gloss: ≥70.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing: Single-component.

  • Induction time: None.

  • Pot life: Unlimited.

  • Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: Dedicated thinner; dilution 3–7%.

  • Recoat interval (25°C): Min 12 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 30–50 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast/shot blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool cleaning to St 3; surface profile 30–75 μm.
Concrete: must be dry (moisture content ≤6%), free of oil/contamination; apply after a sealing primer; for old coatings, consider roughening and remove chalked/loose areas.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Packing: 20 kg.

  • Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store dry/cool/ventilated, away from fire and direct sunlight; no outdoor stacking.
