Overview
Two-component modified epoxy phenolic non-carbon conductive anti-static coating for internal linings of flammable liquid storage/transfer facilities.
Composition
Special epoxy phenolic resin, conductive pigments, conductivity enhancer, solvent, amine curing agent; supplied as Part A & Part B.
Typical uses
For coating of facilities requiring static dissipation for flammable liquid storage and transfer.
For internal linings of petroleum product storage tanks and pipelines as a long-term conductive anti-corrosion coating, especially for methanol and ethanol tank internal walls.

Theoretical consumption: 0.19 kg/m² at 80 µm DFT (loss not included).
Density: 1.33 kg/L.
Drying time (25°C): surface dry 2 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Mixing ratio (A:B): 20:3.
Induction time: 5 min.
Pot life: 45 min.
Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.
Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–7%.
Recoat interval: min 24 h; max 7 d.
Recommended DFT per coat: 50–80 µm (brush/roller 30–50 µm).
Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
Packing: Part A 20 kg; Part B 3 kg.
Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.
Shelf life: 12 months.

For blast-cleaned steel; surface preparation Sa 3 (not lower than Sa 2.5) is specified.
Fast drying at 25°C, RH 70–85%: touch dry 10 min; hard dry 2 h; cured 24 h.
Mix ratio 28:7; thinner X-11 inorganic zinc thinner (5–20%); compatible with epoxy/PU coating systems.
Epoxy MIO intermediate coating (2K) for barrier protection in cathodic-protection coating systems.
Used with PLH53-35 epoxy zinc primer as a supporting intermediate coat.
Salt water resistance: 20 days (as stated).
Mixing ratio 8:1 (by weight); recommended DFT 60–90 µm per coat.
