Single-component water-based intumescent coating delivering a 2-hour fire rating for indoor steel structures and building frames. Non-toxic, low-VOC formulation with strong adhesion. Sa2.5 prep required, 1.7–3.3mm application thickness.
Overview
Waterborne fireproof coating for steel structures based on special waterborne elastic resin emulsion, flame retardants, blowing agent, and functional additives.
When exposed to fire, the coating intumesces and forms a carbonized fire-resistant thermal insulation layer to delay steel temperature rise and improve fire resistance time.
The document states the product performance meets or exceeds GB 14907-2018 (Steel Structure Fireproof Coatings).
Composition
Special waterborne elastic resin emulsion, high-efficiency flame retardant, blowing agent, and functional additives (waterborne system).
Typical uses
Fire protection for indoor steel structures and building steel space frames (grid structures).

Surface preparation
Prior to blasting: grind welds, welding spatter, burrs, and chamfer sharp edges.
Blast cleaning to Sa 2.5 or power-tool cleaning to St 3; steel surface must be bare and free of mill scale/oxide scale.
Apply coating within 5 h after surface preparation (as stated).
Apply at least two coats of anti-corrosion primer first; apply fireproof coating after the anti-corrosion primer is dry.
System compatibility / packing / storage
Optional dedicated topcoat (tintable) can be applied for protection and decoration after the fireproof coating reaches thickness and is hard dry; the fireproof coating itself is stated as not tintable.
Storage: sealed storage in a ventilated, dry place without direct sunlight; storage temperature 5–35°C (as stated).
Shelf life: 12 months.
