PLF-1 Super Weather-Resistant Fluorocarbon Coating

Overview
Two-component fluorocarbon coating for anti-corrosion protection and surface finishing of metal structures.​

Composition
Fluorocarbon resin, premium pigments, solvent, imported additives; biuret used as curing agent; supplied as Part A & Part B.​

Typical uses
Anti-corrosion protection for metal components, large gates, transmission towers, TV towers, large bridges, and chemical equipment.​
Also suitable for surface protection/decoration of high-grade buildings.​

Technical data (typical)

• Appearance: various colors.​

• Theoretical consumption: 0.16 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).​

• Density: 1.20 kg/L.​

• Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.​

Application data (25°C)

• Mixing ratio (A:B): 8:1.​

• Induction time: 5 min.​

• Pot life: 4 h.​

• Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.​

• Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–8%.​

• Recoat interval: min 12 h; max 7 d.​

• Recommended DFT per coat: 30–50 µm (brush/roller 30–40 µm).​

• Compatible undercoats: epoxy zinc-rich primer, inorganic zinc-rich primer, epoxy MIO intermediate coating, etc.​

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.​

System compatibility / packing / storage

• Packing: Part A 20 kg; Part B 2.5 kg.​

• Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.​

• Shelf life: 8 months.
