Overview
Single-component polystyrene-based anti-corrosion coating for industrial facilities and buried pipelines.

Composition
Polystyrene and modified polypropylene binder, modified chlorinated rubber plasticizer, anti-corrosion pigments, additives, organic solvents.

Typical uses
Anti-corrosion protection for industrial facilities and steel structures, and for buried pipelines.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: various colors.

  • Density: 1.22 kg/L.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.11 kg/m² (loss not included).

  • DFT: 40 µm.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing: single-component.

  • Induction time: none.

  • Pot life: unlimited.

  • Application methods: spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–7%.

  • Recoat interval: min 12 h; max unlimited.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.

  • Shelf life: primer 8 months; topcoat 12 months.

  • Packing: primer 25 kg; topcoat 22 kg.
