WH-300 Epoxy Silicone Heat-Resistant Coating Description

Overview
Two-component epoxy silicone heat-resistant coating system supplied as primer and topcoat.

Composition
Epoxy silicone resin, heat-resistant pigments, heat-resistant additives, solvent, additives, curing agent; supplied as Part A & Part B.

Typical uses
Steel equipment, pipelines, components, and other installations requiring 200–300°C heat resistance.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: primer grey/iron red; topcoat white, silver white, black, grey, green, etc.

  • Theoretical consumption: primer 0.11 kg/m² at 30 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Theoretical consumption: topcoat 0.12 kg/m² at 30 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: primer 1.4 kg/L; topcoat 1.2 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): primer 25:0.5.

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): topcoat 20:0.4.

  • Induction time: 5 min.

  • Pot life: 4 h.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner, 5–9%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 20–30 µm (brush 20–30 µm).

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • System compatibility: WH-300 epoxy silicone heat-resistant primer + topcoat.

  • Packing: primer Part A 25 kg, Part B 0.5 kg; topcoat Part A 20 kg, Part B 0.4 kg.

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.

  • Shelf life: 8 months.
