Overview
Single-component cold spray zinc anti-corrosion primer combining cathodic protection and barrier protection.

Composition
Ultra-fine zinc powder, special olefin resin, trace solvent.

Typical uses
Anti-corrosion for steel components such as towers, bridges, pipelines, storage tanks, containers, ships, vehicle logos, nameplates, and fences.
Used for long-term protection of new steel to replace hot-dip galvanizing, thermal spray zinc, and conventional anti-corrosion systems.
Can be used as a single-layer metal protection coating or as a primer in heavy-duty coating systems.

  • Appearance: zinc grey.

  • Gloss: matte.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner.

  • Total zinc content: 96%.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.36 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: 3.0 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 20 min; hard dry 8 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing: single-component.

  • Induction time: none.

  • Pot life: unlimited.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–8%.

  • Recoat interval: min 10 h; max 7 d.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 50–80 µm (brush/roller 40–50 µm).

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Packing: 30 kg.

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.

  • Shelf life: 12 months.
