Film focuses on adhesion to steel and compatibility with alkyd topcoats for general structural steel applications.
Composition
Alkyd resin with iron oxide red, anti-rust pigments, extender pigments, anti-settling agents, solvent, and driers.

Theoretical consumption: 0.14 kg/m² at 40 µm DFT (loss not included).

Thinner: X-6 alkyd thinner, 3–9%.

Recommended subsequent coats: alkyd topcoat; alkyd enamel coating.
Surface preparation
Steel: blast-clean or spray-clean to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
System compatibility: primer under alkyd topcoat and alkyd enamel coating for steel structures.
Construction conditions: RH ≤85%; 5–35℃; avoid rain/snow, strong wind (>6.7 m/s), heavy fog, intense sunlight.
Storage: dry, cool, ventilated warehouse away from fire sources; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor stacking; shelf life 12 months.
