Overview
Acrylic anti-corrosion primer for steel substrates on vehicles, machinery, and steel structures where fast drying and rust inhibition are required.
Performance focus: rapid drying, water resistance, anti-rust protection, and adhesion, with suitability for low-temperature application.

Composition
Acrylic resin with anti-rust pigments, fillers, and additives.

Typical uses
Anti-rust primer for automobiles, construction machinery, mining machinery, agricultural machinery, metal products, and steel structures.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: iron red, light yellow.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.15 kg/m² at 25 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Drying time (23℃): surface dry 0.5 h; hard dry 6 h.

  • Salt water resistance: 72 h, no blistering or peeling; slight color change allowed.

  • Alkali resistance: 72 h, no blistering or peeling; slight color change allowed.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing ratio: single-pack.

  • Application methods: spray, brush.

  • Thinner: acrylic thinner.

  • Recoat interval: min 2 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended subsequent coats: acrylic enamel coating; chlorinated ether topcoat.

  • Application conditions: RH ≤85%; 5–35℃; avoid rain/snow/fog, strong wind (>6.7 m/s), heavy fog, intense sunlight.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast-clean to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

  • Compatibility: compatible with acrylic enamel coating and chlorinated ether topcoat.

  • Packing: 25 kg.

  • Storage: shelf life 12 months.
