Overview
Two-component polysiloxane topcoat for steel protection in severely corrosive atmospheric environments.

Composition
Imported polysiloxane resin, imported curing agent, weather-resistant pigments, additives; supplied as Part A & Part B.

Typical uses
For equipment and facilities in petrochemical, power, metallurgy, transportation, food industries, gas holders, pipelines, and storage tanks.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: various colors.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.16 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: 1.2 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): 24:3.

  • Induction time: 5 min.

  • Pot life: 4 h.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: dedicated thinner, 3–9%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max 7 d.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 30–50 µm (brush/roller 30–40 µm).

  • Compatible undercoats: epoxy zinc-rich primer, epoxy MIO intermediate coating, fluorocarbon topcoat, etc.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Packing: Part A 24 kg; Part B 3 kg.

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.

  • Shelf life: 12 months.

  • Mix ratio 25:2.5; pot life 4 h (25°C).

  • Recoat 24 h–7 d (25°C); recommended DFT 60–80 µm per coat.

  • Theoretical consumption 0.21 kg/m² at approx. 50 µm DFT (losses not included).
