Two-component oil-resistant polyurethane coating system supplied as primer and topcoat.
Composition
Polyurethane resin, weather-resistant resin, pigments and fillers, solvent, curing agent; supplied as primer and topcoat (both two-component).
Typical uses
Coating for oil tank trucks, oil tanks/containers, and fuel tanks.
Technical data (typical)
Appearance: primer grey/black; topcoat blue grey, iron red, medium grey.
Theoretical consumption: primer 0.27 kg/m² at 100 µm DFT.
Theoretical consumption: topcoat 0.24 kg/m² at 90 µm DFT.
Density: primer 1.37; topcoat 1.35.
Drying time (23°C): surface dry 3 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.
Oil resistance: aviation gasoline (95/130) 6 months, no change.
Oil resistance: aviation kerosene 6 months, no change.
Oil resistance: 40# mechanical oil 6 months, no change.
Oil resistance: 120# gasoline 6 months, no change.
Application data (25°C)
Mixing ratio: primer (A:B) 20:2; topcoat (A:B) 21:3.
Induction time: 5 min.
Pot life: 2 h.
Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.
Thinner: matching thinner.
Recoat interval (25°C): min 12 h; max 7 d.
Recommended DFT per coat: 40–70 µm (brush/roller 30–40 µm).
System: PLS54-5 oil-resistant polyurethane primer + topcoat.
Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

Packing: primer Part A 20 kg, Part B 2 kg; topcoat Part A 21 kg, Part B 3 kg.

Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer (2K) – Two-component epoxy zinc-rich primer for steel anti-corrosion systems.
For shipbuilding/repair, bridges, towers, gas holders, oil tanks, and steel structures.
Water and oil resistance with excellent adhesion.
Theoretical consumption 0.21 kg/m² at approx. 50 µm DFT (losses not included).
