Two-component winter-grade epoxy coal tar bitumen coating designed to cure under low-temperature conditions.
Composition
Epoxy resin, coal tar pitch, anti-rust pigments, solvent, additives, catalyst; fast-drying curing agent; supplied as Part A & Part B.
Typical uses
Corrosion protection for steel and concrete in severe corrosive environments.
Suitable for external anti-corrosion of buried pipelines.

Appearance: primer brown-black; topcoat black.
Theoretical consumption: 0.18 kg/m² at 60 µm DFT (loss not included).
Density: 1.32 kg/L.
Volume solids: ≥75%.
Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Mixing ratio (A:B): 20:4.
Induction time: 5 min.
Pot life: 4 h.
Application methods: spray, brush, roller.
Thinner: HL52-6 dedicated thinner, 3–8%.
Recoat interval (25°C): min 12 h; max 7 d.
Recommended DFT per coat: 40–70 µm (brush/roller 30–40 µm).
Surface preparation
Blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
System compatibility: winter-grade epoxy coal tar bitumen primer + winter-grade epoxy coal tar bitumen topcoat.
Packing: Part A 20 kg; Part B 4 kg.
Storage: store in a dry, cool, ventilated place; keep away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.
Shelf life: 12 months.

Epoxy MIO intermediate coating (2K) for barrier protection in cathodic-protection coating systems.
Used with PLH53-35 epoxy zinc primer as a supporting intermediate coat.
Salt water resistance: 20 days (as stated).
Mixing ratio 8:1 (by weight); recommended DFT 60–90 µm per coat.
Epoxy Zinc Primer (2K, C6-Modified) – Two-component epoxy zinc primer (C6-modified) for cathodic-protection priming.
Salt spray resistance 1300 h (as stated).
Theoretical consumption 0.25 kg/m² at 50 µm DFT (losses not included).
