Overview
Two-component vinyl ester glass flake anti-corrosion coating system (primer/mastic/topcoat) for heavy-duty linings in direct contact with corrosive media.

Composition
Vinyl ester resin, reactive diluent, corrosion-resistant flakes, fillers, accelerator, curing agent; supplied as Component A & Component B.

Typical uses
Heavy-duty anti-corrosion lining for equipment, pipelines, and flooring structures in severe corrosive environments with direct contact to corrosive media.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: white, grey, green, black, etc.

  • Tensile strength: 25 MPa.

  • Adhesion: Grade 2.

  • Acid resistance: 30% HCl, 72 h, no blistering/rusting/peeling.

  • Density: primer 1.3 kg/L; mastic 1.5; topcoat 1.2 kg/L.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): 100:(1.5–3).

  • Induction time: ready after mixing.

  • Pot life: 30–45 min.

  • Application methods: airless spray, trowel, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: dedicated leveling agent, 1–3%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max 7 d.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 40–75 µm (brush 30–50 µm).

  • System: PLY-3 primer + vinyl ester glass flake mastic + vinyl ester topcoat.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • System compatibility: PLY-3 vinyl ester glass flake primer + mastic + topcoat.

  • Packing: Part A 25 kg; Part B 1 kg.

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.

  • Shelf life: below 20°C, 3 months.
