Overview
Two-component anti-rust primer with fast drying and low-temperature applicability.
Features include very good adhesion, anti-rust performance, and resistance to oil and water.
Composition
Based on hydroxyl-containing resin, premium red iron oxide anti-rust pigment, refined fillers, additives, and solvents.
Cured with polyisocyanate prepolymer; supplied in Part A & Part B packs.
Typical uses
Anti-rust primer for all steel structures.
Also suitable for long-term anti-corrosion on concrete and aluminum alloy surfaces.

Theoretical consumption: 0.11 kg/m² at 35 μm (excluding loss).
Density: 1.3 kg/L.
Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 2 h; hard dry 24 h; fully cured 7 d.

Mixing ratio (Part A:Part B): 4:1.
Induction time: 5 min.
Pot life: 3 h.
Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.
Thinner: X-10 polyurethane thinner; dilution 3–7%.
Recoat interval (25°C): Min 24 h; max 7 d.
Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 30–60 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.
Surface preparation
Steel: shot blasting or sand blasting to Sa 2.5, or power-tool cleaning to St 3.
Surface profile: 30–75 μm.
System compatibility / packing / storage
Compatibility: Polyurethane intermediate coating/topcoat; acrylic polyurethane topcoat.
Packing: Part A 24 kg; Part B 3 kg.
Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store dry/cool/ventilated, away from fire and direct sunlight; no outdoor stacking.

Mix ratio 25:2.5; pot life 4 h (25°C).
Recoat 24 h–7 d (25°C); recommended DFT 60–80 µm per coat.
Epoxy MIO intermediate coating (2K) for barrier protection in cathodic-protection coating systems.
Used with PLH53-35 epoxy zinc primer as a supporting intermediate coat.
Salt water resistance: 20 days (as stated).
Mixing ratio 8:1 (by weight); recommended DFT 60–90 µm per coat.
