Overview
Single-pack modified acrylic topcoat with good physical/mechanical properties and improved corrosion and weather resistance.
Suitable for low-temperature application.

Composition
Formulated with modified acrylic resin, solid acrylic resin, quality pigments, solvents, and additives.

Typical uses
Protective finishing for steel structures, concrete, and buildings in power, metallurgy, machinery, and transportation industries.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: Various colors.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.16 kg/m² at 40 μm DFT (excluding loss).

  • Density: 1.2 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 0.5 h; hard dry 3 h.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing: Single-pack.

  • Induction time: None.

  • Pot life: Unlimited.

  • Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: X-14 acrylic thinner; dilution 3–7%.

  • Recoat interval (25°C): Min 12 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 40–60 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.

Surface preparation
Remove dust and oil contamination from the previous coat; if beyond maximum recoat interval, consider roughening as needed.
When used as the first coat: blast/shot blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool cleaning to St 3; surface profile 30–75 μm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Compatibility: Previous coat—epoxy primer; epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coating; chlorinated rubber anti-rust coating; acrylic anti-rust coating.

  • Packing: 22 kg.

  • Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store dry/cool/ventilated, away from fire and direct sunlight; no outdoor stacking.
