PLB83-1 High-performance long-lasting special marking coating

Overview
Single-component special marking coating for long-lasting marking and protection.​
Designed with weathering resistance and heat/cold resistance, with stated service life over 10 years.​

Composition
Formulated with premium acrylic resin, silicone resin, imported premium pigments, solvents, and additives.​

Typical uses
For protection and marking of steel structures and concrete chimneys, and for marking/protection of large steel towers.​

Technical data (typical)

• Appearance: White; bright red, etc.​

• Theoretical consumption: 0.16 kg/m² at 40 μm DFT (excluding loss).​

• Density: 1.2 kg/L.​

• Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 1 h; hard dry 8 h.​

• Gloss: ≥80.​

Application data (25°C)

• Mixing: Single-component.​

• Induction time: None.​

• Pot life: Unlimited.​

• Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.​

• Thinner: PLB83 dedicated thinner; dilution 3–7%.​

• Recoat interval (25°C): Min 24 h; max unlimited.​

• Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 40–60 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.​

Surface preparation
Steel: blast/shot blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool cleaning to St 3; surface profile 30–75 μm.​
Concrete: must be dry (moisture content ≤6%), free of oil/contamination; apply after a sealing primer; for old coatings, consider roughening and remove chalked/loose areas.​

System compatibility / packing / storage

• Packing: 20 kg.​

• Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store dry/cool/ventilated, away from fire and direct sunlight; no outdoor stacking.
