Overview
Chlorinated rubber acrylic anti-corrosion topcoat for surface protection and finishing in harsh environments.
Provides anti-corrosion performance, a smooth/level film appearance, and improved weathering and gloss retention.

Composition
Formulated with chlorinated rubber modified acrylic resin, special pigments, solvents, and additives.

Typical uses
For surface anti-corrosion protection and finishing of equipment and industrial buildings/workshops in various harsh environments.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: Various colors.

  • Density: 1.2 kg/L.

  • Theoretical consumption: 0.14 kg/m² at 35 μm DFT (excluding loss).

  • Drying time (25°C): Surface dry 1 h; hard dry 12 h.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing: Single-pack.

  • Induction time: None.

  • Pot life: Unlimited.

  • Application methods: Airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: Dedicated thinner; dilution 3–7%.

  • Recoat interval (25°C): Min 12 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended coats / DFT: 1 coat 40–60 μm; brush/roller 1 coat 30–40 μm.

Surface preparation
Remove dust, oil, and debris from the previous coat; if beyond maximum recoat interval, consider roughening as needed.
When used as the first coat: blast/shot blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool cleaning to St 3; surface profile 30–75 μm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • Compatibility: Previous coat—epoxy primer; epoxy intermediate coating; chlorinated rubber acrylic anti-rust primer; chlorinated rubber anti-rust primer.

  • Packing: 22 kg.

  • Storage: Shelf life 12 months; store in a dry, cool, ventilated place away from fire and direct sunlight; do not store outdoors.
