FVC Anti-Corrosion Coating Description

Overview
Single-pack anti-corrosion coating system supplied as primer and topcoat, suitable for low-temperature application.

Composition
Modified polyolefin resin as the main film-forming material, fluorinated resin, toughening modifier, pigments, organic solvents, additives.

Typical uses
Anti-corrosion coating for steel structures and concrete structures in petrochemical, metallurgy, power, and light industry enterprises.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: primer reddish brown; topcoat various colors.

  • Theoretical consumption: primer 0.14 kg/m² at 40 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Theoretical consumption: topcoat 0.16 kg/m² at 40 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: primer 1.40 kg/L; topcoat 1.2 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing: single-pack.

  • Induction time: none.

  • Pot life: unlimited.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: FVC dedicated thinner, 2–8%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 30–50 µm (brush/roller 30–40 µm).

  • System: FVC primer + FVC topcoat.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

System compatibility / packing / storage

  • System compatibility: FVC anti-corrosion primer + FVC anti-corrosion topcoat.

  • Packing: 20 kg.

  • Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.

  • Shelf life: 12 months.
