Overview
Two-component silicone high-temperature anti-corrosion coating system supplied as primer and topcoat.

Composition
Alkyl silicate, silicone resin, functional pigments, heat-resistant pigments, anti-corrosion additives, curing agent; supplied as primer and topcoat.

Typical uses
High-temperature protection and marking coating for steel chimneys and other steel structures.

Technical data (typical)

  • Appearance: primer grey or iron red; topcoat white, silver white, black, green, etc.

  • Theoretical consumption: primer 0.11 kg/m² at 30 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Theoretical consumption: topcoat 0.12 kg/m² at 30 µm DFT (loss not included).

  • Density: primer 1.4 kg/L; topcoat 1.2 kg/L.

  • Drying time (25°C): surface dry 1 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.

Application data (25°C)

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): primer 25:0.5.

  • Mixing ratio (A:B): topcoat 20:0.4.

  • Induction time: none.

  • Pot life: 6 h.

  • Application methods: airless spray, brush, roller.

  • Thinner: W61 dedicated thinner, 5–10%.

  • Recoat interval: min 24 h; max unlimited.

  • Recommended DFT per coat: 20–30 µm.

Surface preparation
Steel: blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

  • Packing: primer Part A 25 kg, Part B 0.5 kg; topcoat Part A 20 kg, Part B 0.4 kg.
