Two-component solvent-free epoxy coal tar bitumen coating for heavy-duty anti-corrosion protection.​

Composition
Epoxy resin, special pigments, additives, modified curing agent; supplied as Part A & Part B.​

Typical uses
Heavy-duty protection for water pipelines, oil pipelines, chemical equipment, and buried installations.​

• Appearance: black.​

• Theoretical consumption: 0.3 kg/m² at approx. 200 µm DFT (loss not included).​

• Density: 1.43 kg/L.​

• Volume solids: 96%.​

• Drying time (25°C): surface dry 2 h; hard dry 24 h; full cure 7 d.​

Application data (25°C)

• Mixing ratio (A:B): 10:10.​

• Induction time: 5 min.​

• Pot life: 50 min.​

• Application methods: airless spray, brush.​

• Thinner: X-7 thinner; minimize thinning or do not thin.​

• Recoat interval (25°C): min 24 h; max 7 d.​

• Recommended DFT per coat: 80–120 µm (brush 40–50 µm).​

Surface preparation
Blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.​

System compatibility / packing / storage

• Packing: Part A 10 kg; Part B 10 kg.​

• Storage: dry, cool, ventilated; away from fire; avoid strong sunlight; no outdoor storage.​

• Shelf life: 12 months.
