PLH52-3 Epoxy Glass Flake Topcoat is a two-component epoxy glass flake topcoat with resistance to water and permeation of chemical media, used for long-term heavy-duty corrosion protection. This coating is intended for steel structures and concrete facilities in underwater or humid environments and heavy chemical areas, and it may also be used as an intermediate coat.
It is composed of epoxy resin, glass flakes, pigments, additives, and solvents, with a modified amine curing agent, and is supplied as Part A and Part B.

Over a two-component primer, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants; abrade if maximum recoat interval is exceeded. As first coat on steel, blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean to St 3; surface profile 30–75 µm.

Storage
Store in a dry, cool, ventilated place away from ignition sources and direct sunlight; no outdoor storage.
Compatible undercoats include epoxy glass flake anti-rust coating and epoxy anti-rust coating. Other compatible undercoats may also be used where applicable.
